laura turns 12

friday the 13th saw mum, dad and i making the trek up to kal to go to miss laura's 12th birthday. in honour of black friday - guests had to enter the house under a ladder, wear black or inside out clothes and dance under a pile of open umbrellas whilst eating black cats and spiders. yum.

tv... at my own pace

i don't watch tv

as in... i never walk into the loung room and switch on the tv to watch something that's on

never

but... i do love tv on dvd

a little too much

cause you can watch as much or as little as you want in one sitting

and don't have to wait a week for the next episode

i have seen the following shows... in full

and would highly recommend any of them to the friends

new computer is the top priority with the tax return!

doing time...

last night i took "my girls"
to the freo prison for the torchlight tour

the torchlight, as it's name suggests is at night - and is dark and cold.... with lots of crazy goings-on. unfortunately this was a little too much for one of girls - who just didn't take it well when stumbling upon a "ghost" in the yard, when mass hysteria and sobbing ensued. however, we did all have a lot of fun and... it was definately worth it!

what can i say? i am truly 100% a freo gal at heart :)

new job!!!

i am offically the proudest aunty in the world after managing to make it through 3 births in 4 days! woweeee.

decided that she just couldn't wait until november and decided to make an appearance fifteen weeks early at 3:24pm in queensland

a very good choice of name -

i looked it up in a baby book this morning and it means in hebrew

"miracle"

and i bet she is!

she's obviously not very patient!

just 5 minutes ago i got a text from my beth

beth and maui have just welcomed

three beautiful little girls ready to be spoilt rotten by aunty jade

i'm very excited!!

i've met miss maddie on saturday afternoon - and she is darling - very cuddly and quiet, quite obviously worn out. but... i did deliver on my promise (lisa and i spent wednesday night last week trying to bribe her out) with her first pair of shoes!
