madeline had her second time in the morley dance competitions today! she has become such a good little dancer and we are so proud of her and her dedication to practicing and being involved each week in her classes. after the concert last year, she was selected to be in the competition troupe class for her age group in lyrical.
they competed in the same competitions with the same dance in april of this year also and came in third place, with the same result today. they danced beautifully and you can really see that each of the girls loved being a part of their group.
they are such a cute little bunch, giggle away together and get along so well. it's so fun to watch as a mum. i'm grateful for things like this that enable them to form such good friendships that will last.
maddie's favourite bit by far was having her makeup and hair all done up for the competition, but most of all being able to leave it done - to head off to church after we were finished. it was so cute, she was really smug about it and enjoyed every second of it.
i am so proud of you my girl. you've got the world on a string! keep being you and show them how it's done.
