this almost six year old had his year made today when nanna presented him with an early birthday present... a new two wheeler scooter. although his old one was still working fine, it was becoming far too small and watching him try to ride it was hilarious. plus, seeing as they always want to walk (well, i walk and push the pram while they whiz past me on some form of wheels) to school every day, an upgrade was necessary. thank heavens for grandmothers!
after protesting for a little while that he didn't know how to ride a two wheeler, he actually got on it and gave it a shot... only to find out it was just as easy as the three wheeler once he got the hang of it.
i seriously cannot work out how he got this old? but in just 12 days, i will have a 6 year old. wow.
