vintage fair - take two!

there is no doubt in my mind that i have the cleverest mum in the whole wide world... she had a stall at the miss johnsons vintage and handmade markets this weekend and as usual made an absolute killing, cause people just love her things. i could not be prouder... she just sees things and makes them. i am not-so-secretly hoping that one day i wake up and it's just clicked in my head! when i am all grown up - i wouldn't mind being just like her! :)

for example... the gorgeous teasets with tablecloths - and well everything you need for high tea included... so cute! one lady told her that one of them was priced far too cheap and to make it more, then bought that one, plus another the next afternoon! wowsers!

cutest thing ever... windchimes with the wish chopard bottle as the middle... i mean seriously - who on earth would think of something like this? babs... that's who. this one was my favourite, and i am little bit devastated that everything she makes sells so quickly... why? cause i want to keep everything!! haha. there was 7 windchime sets, and all but one had sold by the time the friday night market was over!!

and this bird... amazing. i was so in love with it. but i know she's gone to a good home... :)

one day... one day... when we have our shop, i know we'll be a success... how? cause with a mind a talent like hers, there is no way we could fail!

mum was a roaring success at miss johnsons vintage and handmade fair. i swear she must have sold more than all the other stalls combined. it was very quiet in comparison to the past fairs they have held - but the customers were coming again and again to buy all the beautiful goodies mum had up for grabs!

i'm so proud! go mum!!

vintage fair - take two...

this friday night & saturday...

15th & 16th october

miss johnsons vintage and handmade markets are on again

at the guildford town hall

i am so excited -

mum is having a stall and i can't wait to see all her

hard work pay off and be admired (and purchased) by others.

if you're down that way make sure you come in and check it out - if last time is anything to go on - it'll be well worth the drive,

plus we need people to chat to of course!

miss johnsons vintage fair

friday night found me braving the extremely cold temperatures to go to the vintage and handmade fair at the guildford town hall with mum and pam. we had a great time, though came quite close to suffering hypothermia... and got some funky stoof.

i got an awesome oil painting of a chinese marketplace, a roll of filagree patterned green wallpaper, a caramel apple scented wax melt for my oil burner (smells good enough to eat!!), some funky birds present tags, some vintage earrings and a babushka ring :)
and heaps of good ideas... can't wait for next year -
